One of the larger turf areas along North Lake Drive, the condition of this property’s landscape a few years ago prior to our involvement was dire, warranting intervention to prevent further deterioration and to develop a proper landscape environment in which our efforts would thrive. All plants were removed from the existing beds, which were then reshaped and amended to give the new plantings the proper environment to thrive. Conscientious plantings choices were made to tolerate the windy environment along the lake and allow for season long color and texture changes.
More improvements are in the works. The property manager, who is cognizant of the benefits of incorporating seasonal color into the landscape, plays an active role in seasonal choices. Seasonal color beds were expanded and new planters in front will be installed this spring. The color is a great highlight in conjunction with the flowering shrubs and perennials on site.
